Good. See my review.
How do you clean? Mine has water stains.
Sorry for the inconvenience, due to system glitch the question has popped up recently.
Here's a step-by-step guide:
1. Disassemble the Fountain:
Unplug: Always start by unplugging the fountain from the power source.
Empty the Water: Pour out any remaining water from the basin.
Remove Components: Take out the curvilinear faucet (the swan neck), the filter, and the rubber directing tube.
2. Clean the Parts:
Basin and Faucet: Wash the basin and faucet with warm, soapy water. A mild dish soap is perfect. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
Pump:
Disassemble: Remove the pump cover plate, stator, and impeller.
Clean: Wash all pump parts with warm, soapy water. You can use a small brush, like a toothbrush, to reach crevices. Rinse well.
Vinegar Soak (Optional): For stubborn stains or buildup, soak the non-electrical pump parts in a solution of equal parts water and white vinegar for a few hours. This helps break down mineral deposits.
Rubber Tube: Wash the rubber tube with warm, soapy water and rinse.
3. Address Water Stains:
Vinegar: White vinegar is your friend for tackling water stains!
Soak: If the stains are in the basin, you can fill it with a vinegar-water solution and let it soak.
Scrub: For stubborn stains, apply vinegar directly to the affected areas and scrub gently with a soft cloth or sponge.
Baking Soda Paste: Make a paste of baking soda and water, apply it to the stains, and let it sit for a while before scrubbing and rinsing.
4. Reassemble and Restart:
Dry Thoroughly: Make sure all parts are completely dry before reassembling the fountain.
Reassemble: Put the pump back together, ensuring the impeller spins freely. Reattach the rubber tube, filter, and faucet.
Refill and Plug In: Fill the basin with fresh water, plug in the fountain, and check for any leaks.
When is somebody going to call me back..... I had a conversation with a nice young man last week some girl was supposed to call me back and I have not heard anything since.
